When confronted by my child's veracity for learning, the school's solution was to skip an eight-year-old into a class of ten and eleven year-olds. Clearly that was not the ideal socio-developmental solution but represented the limits of an educational system based on age instead of learning styles and capacity. The inherent design constraints of most educational institutions exclude children who learn outside of narrowly defined parameters. InfinityED supports those choosing home-schooling in addition to working with schools and parents in support of hybrid solutions for new educational paradigms.

After attending many schools in multiple countries while learning educational theory and developmental psychology at the feet of my author / educator grandfather, Arthur T. Jersild of Columbia University's Teacher's College, I knew there were solutions to my child's educational conundrum. That solution was not the easiest choice initially yet went beyond my most treasured hopes and highest expectations almost instantly. Since beginning this journey, I have accumulated two master's degrees, local, national and international awards. When this began, my plan was to return to working with museums and science institutions developing exhibits and educational programming. However, working directly with children and their families as they navigate this labyrinth has become my most cherished occupation.
